Charlotte Ann Wooten

September 16, 1943 — July 3, 2010

Charlotte Wooten, 66, of Jonesboro, died Saturday at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Born in the Little River community of Mississippi County, Charlotte has lived in Jonesboro since 1968. She was retired from the Jonesboro Police Department where she worked as a dispatcher and secretary to the Police Chief for 30 years.

Charlotte was a member of Valley View Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Berniece Crews Graham, by 2 brothers, Bobby Rex Graham and Tommy Graham, and by a sister, Sharon Elliott.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Donald Wooten of Gepp;

2 sons and daughters-in-law: Donnie and Lisa Wooten of Munford, Tennessee, and Richard and Susan Wooten of Wynne;

3 brothers: Mack Graham of Baltimore, Gerald Don Graham of Keiser and Paul Graham of Osceola; and

4 grandchildren: Kyle Wooten, Cody Wooten, Mallory Wooten and Parker Wooten.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with David Gibson officiating. Burial will be private.

Honorary pallbearers include Norris Watkins, Jack McCann, Rusty Grigsby, Scott Roper, Terry Smith, Randy Simpkins, Rick Thomas, Shirley Powell, Brenda Hyde, Cathy Calhoun and Donna Dillin.

Visitation will follow the memorial service in Emerson Chapel.
