Charlotta Ruth Veteto

Charlotta(Sherry) Ruth Veteto, 57, of Jonesboro passed from this life Thursday, December 6, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was born to the late William and Ollie Veteto on June 24, 1961 in Jonesboro. Charlotta lived her entire life residing in Jonesboro and was a member of the Salvation Army Church.

She spent her life caring for others, especially disabled adults. She cared for Patricia Sterling for the last 19 years and thought of her as her own.

In addition to her parents, Charlotta is preceded in death by two sisters, Jennitta Taylor and Violetta Veteto; and one brother, Chucky Veteto.

Charlotta is survived by two brothers: William Barnett Veteto Jr. and Albert( Reina) Veteto; five nieces: Jennifer( Cleon) Johnson , Diane(Michael) Corder, Jennifer(Justin) Vanhoozer, Selena Kersey, and Kaylan Kersey; Nephew: Brian(Mollie) Veteto; four great nieces: LeighAnne Carlie, Crystal-Anne Thomas, Jadis Turpin, and Makenzie Vanhoozer; two great nephews: Zedden(Amanda) Thomas and Ethan Vanhoozer; and great great nephew: River Dodd.

A private family scattering of Charlotta’s ashes will take place at a later date.
