Charlie D. Thompson Jr., 54, of Brookland passed from this life on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at Regional One in Memphis. Charlie was born in Rockford, Illinois to Charlie and Bonita Brown Thompson Sr., on May 7, 1964. Charlie lived in Brookland for 7 years, moving there from Jonesboro. He was a Pack Ware inspector for Arkansas Glass and was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Thompson Sr.

Survived by his wife, Crickett Thompson of the home.

Son, Mitchell Thompson (Megan) of Jonesboro.

Daughter, Randi Mullins of Brookland.

Mother and step father, Bonita Batcheler (Sherman) of Trumann.

Step mother, Geneva Thompson of Conway, Arkansas.

Brother, Dennis Brill of Trumann.

Sisters, Brenda Okeef of Franklinton, Louisiana, Yvonne Black of Pensacola, Florida, Marsue Gage of Jonesboro, Hester Hutton of Pocahontas and Regina Freeman of Bono.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018, at 6:00 P.M. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with service starting at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
