Charles David Young, 52, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born November 19, 1973 in Jonesboro to Charles Grady Young and Jo Ann Avery.

David has lived in Jonesboro for the last 15 years after having lived in Trumann for most of his life. David was one who never met a stranger and wanted nothing more than to be your friend. He enjoyed watching game shows and wrestling as well as spending time with his friends.

David is preceded in death by his father, Charles “Chuck” Young as well as his grandparents, Frank & Ruby Young as well as Mitchell and Helen Busby.

He is survived by his mother, Jo Ann Avery of Jonesboro; sister, Lisa Ann Young of Jonesboro; other immediate family, Vicki (Glenn) Miller of Jonesboro, Ricky (Marilyn) Mitchell of Trumann and Tim (Marsha) Mitchell of Trumann as well as a host of other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
