Charles Earl Wallace

Charles Earl Wallace, 74, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Monday, February 5, 2024, at his home.  He was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi on April 28, 1949, to Forrest Hunt and Lou Ella Chestnut.  He had lived in Jonesboro for over 40 years and was of the Baptist belief.  His profession was as a concrete finisher, and he was very skilled at his craft.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, one sister and three brothers.

Survivors include his brothers, James Wallace, Arthur Wallace, and Ray Dean Chestnut all of Jonesboro; O.C. Wallace of Middleton, Tennessee; Claude Wallace of Marianna; Dock Chestnut of Marion; sisters, Shirley Calvert of Memphis; Louise Wallace, Flora Mitchell and Mickey Wallace of Trumann, Alma Smithwick , Jaqueline Woodson, and Ada Chestnut all of Jonesboro.
