Charles W. Jones

Charles W. Jones, 75, of Jonesboro passed away Saturday December 6, 2008 at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

He was born in Leachville, Arkansas and lived in Jonesboro since 1956. He was a retired truck driver for Jones Truck Lines and a U.S. Army Korean veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Survived by his loving wife of forty nine years, Geraldine Jones of the home.

Two sisters, Agnes Shockley of Jonesboro.
Evelyn Page of Memphis, Tennessee.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday December 8, 2008 at Trinity Cemetery with Keith Baker officiating, with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Active pallbearers will be Carl Moore, Jeff Moore, Bobby Davis, Dale Davis, Terry Browning and Shannon Davis.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Fleeman, L.C. Tiner, Fred Sitz, Tommy French, Nettleton Lions Club and Jonesboro Truck Lines Employees.

There will be no visitation.
