Charles Wade Van Hoozer

Charles Wade Van Hoozer 62, of Jonesboro died Thursday March 3, at N.E.A. Baptist Hospital.

He was born in Marked Tree, Arkansas and had lived in Jonesboro for one month, moving here from Monteagle, Tennessee.

He was a Retired Vietnam U.S. Army Veteran, where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He was of the Southern Baptist belief.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vollie and Dorothy Davis Van Hoozer, 2 brothers, Skip and James Van Hoozer.

Survived by his wife of 41 years, Paulett (Pete) Van Hoozer of the home.
Three sisters, Sandra Kirkland of Cleveland, Mississippi, Kay DeLong of Newport and Robin Hoke of Bay.
Very special friends, Glen and Sandy Bennett of Manchester, Tennessee.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday March 5, at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Jim Conyers officiating. Burial will be at Tyronza Cemetery with full Military Honors. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. Friday March 4, at Emerson Funeral Home.
