Charles Eugene Smith

On July 6, 2019 Charles Eugene Smith passed from this life at St. Bernards Medical Center.  He was born in Trumann 57 years ago and lived most of his life in Jonesboro.  He was a jack-of-all-trades, but more importantly, Charles was a husband, father, and grandpa.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything gun-related.  He was a lifetime member of the N.R.A. Charles also ran The Blanket Brigade of Jonesboro.  He was a member of The Rock Church in Jonesboro.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Christine Smith; sister, Kimberly Adams and brother Floyd Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Libby Richardson-Smith; son, Ryan (Kellie) Smith; granddaughter, Kylee Smith; brother, Steve Holt, Shaun Smith; sisters, Jeri Nelson, Shelia Fore and Teri Ellis; In-Laws, Kevin Richardson and Leigh Ann Richardson-Cayton.  Charles has multiple nieces and nephews and plenty more he considered family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 4-6 PM with service starting at 6 at The Rock Church with Terry Watson officiating.

In Lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations for The Blanket Brigade.  These can be made at The Rock Churcy 4318 E Johnson Ave, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
