Charles Sharp

Charles Sharp, 72, of Jonesboro passed from this life and entered into eternal life to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at his home. He was born in Cash, Arkansas on May 29, 1943. Charles was a self employed roofing contractor for 44 years and he received the Best Under the Sun award for best roofer. He was loved by his children, grandchildren, friends, and his family. Charles loved everybody, always had a smile on his face and when he left you had a smile on your face. He’s the most loving, caring person you could ever meet and was the best Dad in the world. Daddy was a man of faith and believed in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lorene Sharp; and 3 grandchildren.

Charles is survived his children, Sharlet Heath (Jim), Iva Kaja (Tim), Rickey Sharp (Wendy), Lisa Farmer, Keith Sharp (Lyndsey), 6 brothers, 1 sister, and 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Emerson Funeral home with Bro. Rick Hart officiating. Burial will follow at Gipson Cemetery with the active pallbearers being Josh Farmer, Cody Hensley, Jacob Sharp, Josh Pender, Jeff King, and Matt Stallings. The honorary Pallbearers will be Zach Kaja, Matt Kaja, Tim Kaja, Jim Heath, and Jordon Stocks.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service and the family will have a private visitation from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
