Charles William Randle

Charles William Randle, 88, of Jonesboro passed from this life Saturday, August 13, 2016 at his home. He was born December 12, 1927 in Pocahontas to the late Charles E. and Addie Randle. Charles moved to Jonesboro in 1993 coming from Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was a WW2 veteran who served in the Navy. Charles worked for Conoco Inc. for 35 years before retiring. He later drove vehicles for local dealerships for several years. Charles enjoyed golfing, bowling and watching sports. His favorite teams were the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. Charles was a member of Valley View Church of Christ and was very active in the church. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence Randle; 3 brothers, James, Robert and David Randle.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Emma Randle; son, Thomas (Patty) Randle; 3 grandchildren, Callie Randle, Mollie Jones and Michael Randle; 3 great grandchildren Cameron Smith, Ava Osborne and Sydney Jones.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother David Gibson officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.
