Charles P. "Charlie" Hall

Charles P. “Charlie” Hall, 38, of Jonesboro passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at his home. He was born November 4, 1983, in Batesville. Charlie was a 2002 graduate of Highland High School. He enjoyed playing and coaching baseball and softball athletes. He played baseball and football for the Highland Rebels and American Legion baseball. Charlie received his bachelor’s degree in 2006 from Arkansas State University. He worked as an orthopedic sales representative and baseball/softball coach. Charlie was a member of First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed baseball, coaching, golfing, repairing baseball gloves, and the St. Louis Cardinals. Most of all Charlie enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children. Zander and Emmalie were the light of his life and he loved being their father.

Charlie was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lydle H. Ross; paternal grandparents, Charley A. and Leona Hall and great grandparents, Arthur Allen and Myrtle Ross and James Willoughby and Dovie Hanna.

Survivors include his parents, Paul E. and Linda M. Ross Hall of Ash Flat; his son, Zander Patrick Hall of Jonesboro; daughter, Emmalie Marie Hall of Jonesboro; sister, Cindy L. Hall Willis of Jonesboro; mother of his children, Vanessa Hall of Jonesboro; nieces and nephews: Bailey Rae Willis of Jonesboro, Brayden Ross Willis of Jonesboro, Tommy, Gracie, and Katie Welte of Bradenton, Florida, and Gretchen, Megan, and Adalyn Welte of Austin, Texas, and numerous other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Wesley Hall with Rev. John Miles officiating. Burial will be private. Pallbearers will be Grant Hyslip, Keith Frankenberger, Anthony Gilberto, Jason Edwards, D.J. Welte, Danny Welte and Brandon Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brayden Willis, Tommy Welte and the Giants Baseball Team.

Visitation will be Friday, May 6, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel.
