Charles Edward Noell

Charles “Ed” Noell, Sr. 85 of Jonesboro, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born December 30, 1930 in the Cole Corner Community in Jonesboro.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Letha Noell of the home; his daughter, Carol (Mark) Lease of Oakland, TN; sons, Charles Noell, Jr and Dennis (Kay) Noell, all of Jonesboro. Grandchildren, Zach Lease, Jennifer Guthrie, Blake Lease, Charles Noell III, Aletia Weisenbach, Jesse Hall, Tyler Cox, Holly Noell, and Katie Noell.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Delbert and Flora Noell and step-father Charlie Gamble. Two brothers, Sammie Noell and Raymond Noell.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm at Emerson Memorial Chapel Wednesday, May 18, 2016. Service will be 10 AM Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Emerson Funeral Memorial Chapel with Bro. Harold Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Unity Cemetery at Cole Hill.

Serving as Pallbearers: Zach Lease, Blake Lease, Brad Guthrie, Charles Noell III, Mark Leafe and Kyle Weisenback.
