Charles Bradford Miller, Sr.

Charles Bradford Miller, Sr.,  83, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Monday, January 2, 2023, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Flint, Michigan, Charles lived some of his early adult life in Jonesboro. He lived in California and St. Louis before moving back to Jonesboro in 1998. Charles was a U.S. Army veteran and worked over 30 years for Union Pacific Railroad.

Charles enjoyed owning and shooting guns and watching television, especially his favorite Westerns. He is preceded in death by his son, Charles Bradford Miller, Jr., son-in-law Carroll Lytle, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Roberts Miller of the home;

1 daughter, Christina Lytle of Jonesboro;

3 grandchildren, Phillip Vigil, Charles Miller, III, and Laura Miles and her husband Jeramie; and

2 great grandchildren, Cecilia Miles and Clyde Miles.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday in Emerson State Room Chapel. Burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg. Visitation will precede the funeral service from 12 noon until service time.
