Charles Dalton Luster

October 10, 1963 — September 5, 2008

Charles Dalton Luster, 44, of Jonesboro, died Friday, September 5, 2008 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Charles had lived most of his life in Jonesboro and was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church. He loved to play music and his guitar; playing with his granddaughter brought his happiness. He enjoyed his chosen profession of carpentry and was loved by everybody who knew him.

Charles is survived by his wife, Penny of fifteen years; one son Luke Luster and wife Savannah, Paragould, Arkansas; parents, Kenneth and Margie Luster, Greene County; one brother, Sam Luster; one sister Deanna Luster, both of Jonesboro; and one granddaughter Leigha Katelynn Luster.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at the New Life Fellowship Church with Brother Rick Clark officiating and burial to follow at City Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Anthony Luster, Brian Luster, Daniel Luster, Scott Montgomery, Bill Rice, and Mike Barnett. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning until service time.
