Charles Junior Inboden

Charles Junior Inboden, 86, of Jonesboro passed from this life of natural causes at his home on Tuesday, April 24 ^th , 2018.  He was born August 5, 1931 to the late Charlie and Opal Inboden in Bay, Arkansas.

Charles moved to Jonesboro in 1958. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. Charles was employed most of his life in the farm equipment business, working for Allis-Chalmers (later AgCo) from 1967 until his retirement in 1994. Following retirement, he remained active raising cattle, transporting cotton modules, delivering cars, and fishing. Spring and fall would often find him on the backroads of Bay checking on the planting or harvesting of his crop and others.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Laura Frances Inboden.

Charles is survived by his children Florence Elam, Dianna Way, and Charlene Bari (Tony) of Jonesboro; Jerry Glover (Pam) of Wynne; Steve Inboden (Chicki) of Trumann; and Debbie Fox (Grant) of Bowling Green, Kentucky; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Lula Mae Holt of Jonesboro, Georgia; Bobby Inboden (Joann) of San Antonio, Texas; and Bill Inboden (Linda) of Bono.

A private service and burial will be held Friday morning, April 27 ^th with Reverend Don Blackmore officiating. Pall bearers will be grandsons Philip Way, Chuck Bari, Matthew Elam, Ben Elam, Zac Inboden, and Charlie Inboden.
