Charles Harold Bowman, 74, formerly of Jonesboro, died Sunday evening at Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City.
Born in Bowman, Charles lived in North Little Rock before moving to Jonesboro in 1976. He was a retired truck driver for Kraft Foods and was a member of Lifeline Fellowship Church in Jonesboro. Charles was a U.S. Army veteran and was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Maxine Bowman, by a son, Ken Foster, by his parents: Fred and Blanche Bowman and by a brother, Tommy Bowman.
Survivors include 3 sons and their wives: Gary and Cheryl Foster of Brookland, Jerry and Judi Foster of Black Oak, and Stephen Bowman of Little Rock;
2 daughters, Donna Bowman of Fort Worth and Marsha Segalla of Little Rock;
1 sister, Jewel Wicker of Brookland;
10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Paul Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.
Pallbearers include: Brandon Foster, Michael Dyer, Bob Moreno, Austin Dyer, Jimmy Dyer and Bobby Langrell.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home.
