Charles “Kiston” Ellis, 66, a lifelong resident of Cash, died Monday, January 13, 2025, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born in Flint Michigan on February 20, 1958, to Fern and Pauline Ellis. He was the owner of C.T. Trucking and loved to farm. His favorite hobby was riding motorcycles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Ellis and one sister, Vicky Ellis.
Survivors include his Fiancé, Debbie Slaven of the home; daughters, Heather Marie Ellis of Jonesboro; and Shelia Renee DeArmond of Cabot; brother, Fern Belo Ellis of Cash; grandsons, Cameron Ellis, Caleb Ellis, Cole Ellis and Cade DeArmond; nieces and nephews, Kathy Savoie, Robbie Jones, Shonda Phillips, Kimberly Eskew; great niece Hayden Eskew and great nephew J.C. Bilbrew. Special Cousins to Larry, Jerry, Susie, Sandy and special friend Grady Henson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bradley George and Alan Tennison officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Kory Gibson, Ralph Smith, Earl Webster, Tommy Elkins, Wayne Carlton, and Kalinn Davis to serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are former drivers of Ct. Trucking.
