Charles Curtis White

Charles Curtis White, 69, passed from this life Sunday, December 13, 2020, at his home. He was born August 4, 1951, in Louisiana, to the late Ruth Webb and Charles White. In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his daughter, Bethany White.

Charles was born in Louisiana, but eventually made his way to Arkansas, where he attended Newport schools. He was a head elder of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. For work, Charles was a truck driver at Pat Salmon and Son’s. Charles loved riding his Harley. He even was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Club association. Most importantly, Charles loved spending time with his wife and family.

Charles is survived by his wife, Joy White, of the home; stepsons, Wesley Hinson (Christy) and Bradley Hinson, of Paragould; grandchildren, Cody, Kyle, Kailey, and Braidon; and great-grandchildren Braxon, Cadjren, Ryder, Indy, and Landon.

A visitation will be held Monday, December 21, 2020 from 1 to 2 pm at Emerson Memorial Chapel. A service will directly follow at 2 pm, with a burial at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

A facemask must be worn while at the visitation and service.
