Charles “Chuck” Edward Yahnke, 60, of Jonesboro, departed this life on April 5, 2025, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 10, 1964, in Marvell, AR, to George and Dorothy Yahnke.

His family lovingly referred to him as a “big jokester,” and no matter where he went, he always ran into someone he knew. Chuck also loved going to the Spring River with his family, cooking, barbecuing, and just spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Dorothy Yahnke.
Chuck is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years, Lisa Yahnke; his son, Charles Edward “Chas” Yahnke II; his daughter, Alixandria Danyel “Alix” Yahnke; his sister, Leigh Ann Guest; his sister-in-law, Pamela Fant; and his beloved grandson, Charles Edward “Cruz” Yahnke III.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with visitation prior to the service starting at 1:00 PM. Honorary pallbearers include Gary Weaver and the Simmons Deer Camp.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations be made to the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.
