Charles "Chuck" Herman Watkins

Charles “Chuck” Herman Watkins, 54, of Jonesboro passed from this life April 19, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was born to the late Herman and Floy Watkins December 17, 1962 in St. Joseph, Michigan. Chuck resided in Jonesboro for the past 36 years after spending his childhood in the Michigan area. He loved watching wrestling and was a dodge truck fan. Chuck was an avid hunter and fisherman. Chuck also enjoyed watching sports especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chicago Cubs.

In addition to his parents, Chuck is preceded in death by his sister, Denise Dickerson.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Dawnyal Watkins, of 26 years; one son: Nathan Watkins of Jonesboro; one daughter: Natasha Watkins (Charles Miller) of Beech Grove; two brothers: Randall “Randy” (Dana) Watkins of Jonesboro and Derek Watkins (Brenda Truxler-Whited) of Jonesboro; Cindy Watkins(Bruce Atherton) of Indiana.

A visitation will be from 2 – 4 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Emerson Funeral Home.

Burial will be private.
