Charles Allen Davis

Allen Davis, 41, of Jonesboro, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2022.  He was loved by so many people.  His love for his children, baseball, softball, basketball and we can’t forget fishing is like no other.  He enjoyed doing all of the things with his children, and friends. He cherished the moments for the bonds he held with many special people in his life.  He was always proud of his relationships with Tabitha McAdams, it was great for parenting. He loved to play ball and fish with Kyle, Zeke, Zach, Jacob, Josh, Parrish, and Kaison.  He always had a special friendship and bond with Jennifer Galloway and her daughter, Marlena Hispher. Allen was preceded in death by his paternal grands, Herb and Rae Davis, and his maternal grandfather, Ronnie Poppleton.

Survivors include his parents, Paul and Jennifer Dotson; Charlie and Linda Davis; six children, Kyle McAdams (Alyissa); Zeke Davis, Holland Davis, Kaytlynn Davis, Paul Russel Davis and Blaine Davis, as well as one granddaughter, Ximena.  He also leaves behind his maternal grandmother, JoAnn Braden, his sisters, Christy (Mike) Weatherford, Anna Davis, and one brother, Christopher Davis as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that he dearly loved.  He will forever leave a lasting smile on our hearts.

He totally enjoyed watching his Lady Bug, Holland Mackenleigh, in all her life and sport endeavors.  Then Katie Bug and her silly ways and out fishing the boys.  Then there is Paul Russell and Blaine Alexander his gamers,  they always beat him.

A memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, September 23, 2022, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Freedom Layne officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time on Friday. Burial will be private.
