Chad Willis Rampley, 43, of Jonesboro, died on October 1, 2024. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee and was adopted by Tony and Vicki Rampley at the age of 5 weeks. He started working in 2012, and then became the director of New Creations Inc. (Transition House). His hobbies included whatever was needed done to help others and anything that could be an adventure. He travelled every summer from the age of 5 weeks until the age of 16 to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to spend time with his grandpa Roger. While in Wyoming he water skied under the Tetons, he learned to fish, and even raised a baby hawk. He rode horses and would bring the horses into the corral for feeding. Got to be an excellent Chisler (type of Squirrel) harvester and would gather them for a mother coyote to feed her babies. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Petie and Roger Parrott; Mildred Prescott, and Milton Rampley.
Survived by son, Christian Allexander Rampley of Jonesboro; many uncles, aunts, cousins, dear friends, and John 3:16 brothers, from all over the continental United States. A special family connection was with Trey and Dana Woffard, cousins, his nephews, Owen Woffard and Braxston Spencer; and aunt, Rita Sherrod.
A memorial Celebration of Life will be at 4:00 PM, October 26, 2024, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brian Tuggle officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. John 3:16 Ministries will have an active part in this celebration of life experience.
