Chad Allen Darby, 40, of Trumann, passed from this life at his residence. He was born January 6, 1979 to Troy and Reba Carpenter Creecy in Osceola, Arkansas. Chad was a cabinet maker for Sullivan’s Construction and he was of the Pentecostal belief. He enjoyed making cabinets and hunting and he was a practical joker. Chad is also a throat cancer survivor. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, mother, daughter Shada Darby and 2 brothers.
Survivors include: wife, Sondra Darby of the home; sons, Gunner Darby and Tyler Darby both of Bay, and Ben Simpson of Trumann; daughter, McKenzie Darby of Bay; brothers, Hunter Creecy of Jonesboro and Paul Creecy of Trumann; sisters, Monica Williams of Trumann and Tay Creecy of Jonesboro and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 2-4 pm in the Emerson Memorial Chapel. Service will be Monday, September 30, 2019 at 10 AM in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Danny Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Jason Carpenter, Michael Dover, Paul Creecy, Sr., Trevor Sullivan, Hunter Creecy and Justin Kirk. Honorary Pallbearers include Michael Irvin and Paul Creecy, Jr.
