Chad Dewayne Brown

Chad Dewayne Brown, 53, of Jonesboro passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023 at his home. He was born December 19, 1969 in Jonesboro to the late Bill and Devona Brown. Chad was a Christian and of the Baptist belief. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, listening to music and playing the drums. He was an only child and his best friends were his mom and dad. Chad loved his family and spending time with them and friends doing bonfires and cookouts.

In addition to his parents, Chad was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Belva Henley and maternal grandparents, Leon and Imogean Jaquess.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Cindy Brown of the home; daughter, Cassi Rowland of Jonesboro; grandson, Jaylan Rowland of Jonesboro and 3 uncles: Burl Turman of Jonesboro, Melvin White of Jonesboro, Gerald Jaquess of Knoxville, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be Friday, July 14, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Troy Foust officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.
