C.H. Flemon

C.H. Flemon, 80, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday at St. Bernards Medical Center.

C.H. was born in Jonesboro and lived all of his life in the Valley View community. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from City Water and Light in 1995 with 35 years of service. C.H. was a member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church and the Valley View Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and water skiing.

C. H. was preceded in death by his parents: Daniel W. and Ara Bennett Flemon; 3 brothers: Gary Flemon, Barry Flemon and Richard Flemon; and by a brother-in-law, Lavon Morgan.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Colean Stooksberry Flemon of the home;
2 sons: Clay ( Jessica) Flemon and Anthony (Rhonda) Flemon, both of Jonesboro
His twin sisters: Joyce (Joe) Taylor and Loyce Morgan, all of Jonesboro;
4 brothers: Bill (Wanda) Flemon, Danny (Nancy) Flemon, Michael (Anna) Flemon and Mark (Carla) Flemon, all of Jonesboro;
5 grandchildren: Shawn Flemon, Amanda Sparkman, Tyler Flemon, Jonathan Flemon and Ashley Flemon; and
1 great grandchild, Shawn Keagen Flemon.

It was the request of C.H. that all services be private.
