Cecilia Thyer

Cecilia Thyer, 78, of Jonesboro passed away surrounded with family by her side on Sunday September 7, 2014 at the NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born in Salisbury, Missouri on July 21, 1936 to the late Joseph and Angeline Henke Hartmann. She had lived in Jonesboro since 1982 and was an Independent Living Assistant for the East Arkansas Area on Aging and a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 niece and 1 nephew.
Survived by her sons; Chris Thyer (Cindy) of Jonesboro, Brad Thyer (Margie) of Collierville, Tennessee and Bobby Thyer (Deidre) of Southaven, Mississippi.
Daughter; Jodie Baker (Jim) of Jonesboro.
Brothers; Steven Hartmann, John Hartmann and Richard Hartmann, Lawrence Hartmann, Charles Hartmann and Donald Hartmann all of Salisbury, Missouri and George Hartmann of Columbia, Missouri.
Sisters; Agnes Schreiner of Lexington, Missouri, Helen Johanning of Glasgow, Missouri, Lucille Hartmann of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Carole Brien of Salisbury, Missouri.
Grandchildren; Alexis, Jack, Will, Mason, Victoria, Brylee, Braden and Elizebeth.
A Memorial service will be held at 6:30 P.M. Wednesday September 10, 2014 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Jack Vu officiating. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
There will be no visitation.
