Cecil Roedel

Cecil Roedel, 85, of Jonesboro, died Friday at Ridgecrest Nursing Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Brookland, Mr. Roedel lived most of his life in the Rogers Chapel community near Jonesboro.

He was a retired farmer and was preceded in death by 8 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include:

1 Sister: Mary Jean Roedel Tolbert of Palmer Lake, Colorado;

1 Brother: John Roedel of Lagotee, Indiana; and

Numerous nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Jonesboro City Cemetery.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Saturday, 5-7 p.m., at Emerson Funeral Home.
