Cathy Cheek Martin

Cathy Sue (Cheek) Martin, 66, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

A native and life-long resident of Jonesboro, Cathy was a graduate of Jonesboro High School and worked several years for Mead Enterprises of Jonesboro. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed watching her television programs and reading.

Cathy's favorite pet was her poodle and she was preceded in death by her parents: Alris Othan and Maxine Cheek.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law: Becky and Paul Bishop of Jonesboro;

a niece and her husband: Robyn and Darrell Pipes of Paragould and several great nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.
