Catherine Lewis Patty

Catherine Lewis Patty, 88, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Catherine was daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Lewis and sister to George Lewis and Marie Schlicter now deceased. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jonesboro and the treasurer of the Tampa Women’s Club. D. Ellen Beinhorn, surviving member of the Lewis clan remembers her sister as beautiful, talented and loving in her youth and as a mother of extraordinary understanding and love and as a supportive sister whenever needed.

Survivors include her daughters, Jimmilee Smithee and husband Joey; Cheryl and Tim; all of Jonesboro; sister D. Ellen Beinhorn of Banner Elk, North Carolina; one grandson, Sam.

All services will be private under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.
