Cary John Kanok, 49, of Jonesboro passed from this life on February 21, 2015 at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born on May 28, 1965 in Cary, Illinois to Dennis and Marlene Kanok. Cary has lived in Jonesboro since 1994 and was of the Catholic belief. He loved hunting, fishing, and bowling. Cary is preceded in death by his father: Dennis Kanok.
Cary is survived by his loving wife of 15 years: Sharon Kanok of the home; sons, Robert House of Jonesboro and Bryan House (Kelsey) of Bono; daughters, Jessica Kanok of Jonesboro, Amber Donegan (Joe) of Biloxi, Mississippi, and Amanda House of Ravenden; mother, Marlene F. Kanok of Georgetown, Texas; brother, Robert Kanok (Ashley) of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Zachary, Tristan, Peyton, Emilee, Alli, Ryleigh, Terry, and Gavin; nephew, Hudson.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery with active pallbearers being John Bell, Robert House, Bryan House, Jonathan House, Mike Johnson, and Clint Byard.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in Emerson Memorial Chapel. For lasting memorials, the family requests that donations can be made to the charity of their choice. The family would also like to give special thanks to the staff at UAMS in Little Rock for the loving kindness and care for Cary.
