Carroll "C.J." Lytle, 56, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.
Born in San Jose, California, C.J. moved to Jonesboro when he was 8 years old then lived in Texas and Colorado before moving back to Jonesboro in 2017. He was of the Baptist faith and worked in home construction, automotive towing and served as a restaurant chef for several years.
C.J. enjoyed fishing, going to the lake, visiting Spring River and shooting pool with friends. But, his favorite pastime was riding his motorcycle on the open highway. He was preceded in death by his parents: Jimmie and Orlean Pruitt Lytle, and a sister, Sharon Kay Dobson.
Survivors include his wife of 19 1/2 years, Christina Miller Lytle, of the home, married June 15, 2002;
2 daughters: Jodi Lytle of Newport and Laura Miles (Jeramie) of Cameron Park, California;
3 sons, Jason Lytle and Matthew Lytle, both of Fort Smith, and Phillip Vigil of Jonesboro;
2 brothers, Jimmie Lytle of Fort Smith, and David Lytle (Roseann) of Manitou, Colorado; and
12 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Saturday at Emerson Funeral Home. Services and burial will be private.
