Carroll Hundley

Carroll F. Hundley, 81, of Jonesboro, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at his home after a long struggle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

Carroll was born April 26, 1939, in Bay to Howard and Vaniece McCracken Hundley. He was a 1957 graduate of Bay High School and following graduation began a 40-year career with National Cash Register Company. Carroll began as a field technician in the Northeast Arkansas territory but also served the company as a representative in Missouri. Carroll retired from the company as area manager.

Following his NCR career, Carroll joined his brother Doug and they formed Hundley Brothers Woodworks which they operated for ten years until Doug's health begin to fail. Carroll was constantly building or helping a friend with repair projects. His favorite times were in his woodworking shop or at his lake house at Greer's Ferry, the home he designed and built for his family.

Carroll attended the Nettleton Church of Christ until he became disabled. He was preceded by his parents, his sister Rosemary Grisham and his brother Doug Hundley.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Shirley Hundley of the home;
sons David (Lori) Hundley and Daniel (Robin) Hundley, grandchildren Chase, Ben (Faith), Mack (Lauren), Jack, Zeke, Bella Hundley, Hailey (Brandon) McNew and Colby (Jeffrey) Hignight; and one great grandchild Leighton McNew.

Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2020, at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Allen Ashlock officiating, with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.

Pallbearers include grandsons Chase, Ben, Mack, Jack, Zeke Hundley, Brandon McNew and Jeffrey Hignight.
