Carolyn Janet Stevens, 78, of Bay passed from this life on Tuesday April 14, 2026 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born September 6, 1947 in Hackleburg, Alabama to the late Lonnie West and Myrtle West.

Carolyn has lived in the Northeast Arkansas area for 60 years and was of the Baptist belief. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, tending to her flowers, and working in the yard.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by a sister, Ann Mae and a brother, Jimmy as well as her stepfather, Vilous Weems.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Stevens of the home; sons, Shawn (Billie) Copeland of Laguna Beach, California and Brandon (Christy) Copeland of Jonesboro; stepdaughter, Stephanie Stevens (Andy) Brock of Aliso Viejo, California; sisters, Alice Hall and Rita Tarver, both of Bay and grandchildren Rowan Biggs and Tanner Copeland.
