Carolyn Kendrick

Carolyn Kendrick, 80, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, TN. She was born July 9, 1939 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Carolyn lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana before moving to Jonesboro, and more recently moved to Murfreesboro, TN. While in Baton Rouge, Carolyn and her husband, Wayne, owned their own restaurant for 22 years, The Frost Top. Carolyn was an avid Louisiana State University football fan and was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. She has attended the Lawson Road Church of Christ for the last five years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Wayne Kendrick; her parents, Rosalie and Lloyd Bearden Sr.; brother, Lloyd Bearden Jr and a granddaughter, Susan Kendrick.

Carolyn is survived by her sons, Kenny Kendrick of Quitman, Arkansas, Jimmy Kendrick (Diane) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Billy Kendrick (Julie) of New Philadelphia, Ohio; daughter, Elizabeth Ferguson (Jimmy) of Bono; grandchildren Benjamin Kendrick, Melissa Sexton (Eddie), Stephanie Bentley (Chris), Scott (Sarrah) Ferguson, Brian Ferguson, Mark Ferguson (Courtney), Drew Ferguson, Megan Ferguson, Stacy Taylor (Brad), Christina Hale (Justin), Leland (Toria) Kendrick, and Clara Kendrick. Carolyn also leaves behind 15 great grandchildren.
