Carolyn Kay Kiplinger

November 19, 1947 — November 9, 2012

Carolyn Kay Kiplinger, 64, of Jonesboro, died Friday, November 9, 2012, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Carolyn was born in Jonesboro and lived in several military cities while her husband served a military career. She has lived the last several years in Jonesboro. Carolyn was a care giver and was of the Pentecostal belief.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was preceded in death by a son, Randy Kiplinger, her mother, Aline Birdsell, her husband, Robert Kiplinger, Sr., a sister-in-law: Jackie Birdsell and a brother-in-law: Jimmy Kennedy.

Survivors include her father, C.B. Birdsell of Jonesboro;

1 daughter and son-in-law: Pamela and Allen Morgan of Garland, Texas;

3 sons and daughters-in-law: Eugene and Kendra Davis of Pilot Knob, Missouri,
Robert Carl, Jr. and Netta Kiplinger of Clarksville, Tennessee, and
Michael L. Kiplinger of Pocahontas;

2 sisters and brother-in-law: Hazel Kennedy of Memphis, and Katherine and Alan Morris of Beebe;

2 brothers and sister-in-law: Billy Birdsell and Bobby and Brenda Birdsell all of Jonesboro;

12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park.

Members of the Fugarwe Tribe Motorcycle Club will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Monday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home.

For lasting memorials, the family asks that consideration be given to the American Diabetes Association or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
