Carolyn Jean Knight

Carolyn Jean Knight, 73, of Brookland, Arkansas died Saturday, August 21, 2010, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She had lived in Jonesboro for the 35 years, moving here from Orlando, Florida and was a member of the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Leonard Knight, of the home; sons, Larry Knight and wife Karen, Jonesboro; John A. Knight, Florida; Charles Ben Knight and wife Shelby, Jonesboro; and Leonard Knight Jr. and wife Milissia, Lake City, Arkansas; one brother, Eddie Smith, Winter Haven, Florida; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:00 Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at Macedonia Cemetery with Floyd Cabe officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be members of the Nettleton Masonic Lodge. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 Monday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
