Carolyn Love Fry, age 66, passed away on July 9, 2026, at CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. She was born on June 8, 1960, in Plainview, Texas, to Mary Ruth McCourt Love and Antone "Bud" Love. During her childhood, she lived in Texas, Utah, and eventually Arkansas, where she proudly graduated from Lake City High School as a member of the Class of 1978. In later years, she resided in New Boston, Texas.

Carolyn was of the Church of Christ faith. Throughout her career, she was known for her strong work ethic and dedication, business owner of A Loving Touch, serving as an office manager for Fry Trucking, a bank teller, an employment placement specialist, and a licensed cosmetologist before retiring.

Above all else, Carolyn's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted mother to her three children and a proud "Nannie" to her five grandchildren, who brought endless happiness to her life. She was always present for her children's activities, volunteering whenever she could, and opening her home to family and friends. Carolyn never met a stranger. She greeted everyone with a warm smile, a genuine hug, and a kind heart. A gifted artist with a creative spirit, Carolyn loved painting, refinishing furniture, sewing, gardening, and spending time outdoors. She had a remarkable talent for making ordinary things beautiful and creating lasting memories with those she loved.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert Fry Jr. of New Boston, Texas; Stephanie (Brandon) Decker of Monette, Arkansas; and Blaine Fry of New Boston, Texas. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Jaxton Decker, Nash Decker, and Myla Decker, all of Monette, Arkansas, and Noah Fry and Conner Fry of Jonesboro, Arkansas. She is survived by her loving partner of many years, Tim Brainerd of New Boston, TX; by her sister, Christine DeWitt of Danville, Arkansas; her nephews and niece, Dave Miller, Richard Matthew Baker, Steven DeWitt, Michael DeWitt, Jera Beth Cobb, and Blake Cobb; along with many cherished great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ruth McCourt Love Thomas and Antone "Bud" Love; her sisters, Debbie Baker, Gloria "Glo" Miller, and Melinda Beth Cobb; and her husband, Robert Fry.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026, starting at 2:00 p.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be prior starting at 1:00 p.m.

Carolyn's life was a beautiful reflection of love, generosity, and grace. She found joy in the simple things, a house filled with laughter and time spent with those she loved most. Her warm hugs, infectious smile, creative spirit, and unwavering love for her family will forever be remembered. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the memories she created, the kindness she shared, and the love she poured into others will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Her children would like to give a special thank you to nurses at CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital and Heritage Hospice for taking care of their mother.
