Carolyn Doyle, age 68 of Ash Flat, died Monday at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born in Jonesboro and has lived in Ash Flat for 20 years. Carolyn had worked at St. Bernards as a laundry supervisor. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Ash Flat and was member of the Red Hat Society. She loved to go shopping and read.
Carolyn is preceded by her parents, Homer and Juanita Martin Cobb; son, Leslie (Lester) James; sister, Louetta Honey; 2 brothers, James and Jerry Cobb.
Survivors include 3 sons, Wesley James, Ray Curtner both of Jonesboro, Donnie Curtner of Wynn; 2 daughters, Rebecca (Juan) Espinoza Galvan of Jonesboro, and Coelene Doyle of Cherokee Village; 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, February 14, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with service starting at 11:00. Bishop Steve Green and Jim Weston will be officiating. Burial will be at Philadelphia Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bill Banter, Charles Ford, Jim Bolen, Barny Olbfield, Elder Reid, Elder Fortie.
