Carolyn Spears Detrick, 82, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, October 19, 2005, at her home in Jonesboro. She was born in Jonesboro and she dedicated her life to providing a home for her husband and family around the world at all the military assignments with her husband Hal.
She was preceded in death by her parents, P. W. and Irene Spears. She was of the Baptist belief and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by her husband, Retired Lt. Colonel Hal A. Detrick, of the home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 Saturday, October 22, 2005 at Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro with Bro. Emil Williams officiating with burial to follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers are Hal Diggs, Kevin Orr, Steve Orr, Randall Wheeler, Adam Baker, Preston Williams, and Steve Wheeler.
