Caroline Ann Wood

Caroline Wood, 81 of Jonesboro left this world Wednesday, November 30 at 1:12 AM at St Bernards Regional Medical Center.  Caroline was born on March 6, 1941 in Caraway where she was a long time resident before moving to Jonesboro around 30 years ago.  Her hobbies included backyard bird watching, sewing, quilting, DIY projects, and hand raising hundreds of parakeets.  Caroline was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Wood and her brother  Bob Brancecum.

She is survived by her brother, David (Skip) Brancecum, daughters, Patty (Mike) Brewer and Michelle Mantle; grandchildren, Lashandra (Eric) Dickens, Robert (Christen) Brewer, Amber Slater, John Brewer, Amanda Mantle (Joseph White); great grandchildren, Brianna and Ashlyn Dickens, Colt Bamburg, Jaida Ragland, Nicole Smith, Lexus Goodwin, John Michael and Silas Brewer and many more extended family and  friends.

A private celebration of Caroline’s life will be held at a later date.
