Carole Pepper

January 25, 1951 — August 25, 2011

Carole Taylor Pepper passed away, Wednesday August 25, at her residence. She was born and raised in Kinston, North Carolina and had lived in Jonesboro since 1999, moving here from Easley, South Carolina.

She was an executive assistant for Liberty Bank and was of the Presbyterian belief. She will always be remembered for her compassion, charity, thoughtfulness, love of all holidays and organization.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Taylor and one step-son, Andrew Pepper. She also leaves behind her faithful companion Scooby.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Pepper of the home, son, Todd Dudley, of Greenville, North Carolina, one daughter, Barbara Elden and husband Scot of Kinston, North Carolina, 2 step daughters Sarah Pepper of Houston, Texas and Jennifer Pepper of Evansville, Indiana. Her mother, Dorothy Taylor of Kinston, North Carolina. 2 brothers, Bryant Taylor of Atlanta, Georgia and Scott Taylor and wife Valerie of Supply, North Carolina. One sister, Allyson Taylor and husband Keith of Atlanta, Georgia.

Three grandchildren, Haley Dudley, Will Dudley and Ele Eden. Nephews, Harrison Taylor and Chandler Taylor.

Visitation will be from 5 -7:00 P.M. Friday August 26, 2011 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service at the First Presbyterian Church in Kinston, North Carolina will be at a later date and time, with a private burial following at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be John Rogers, Denny Spence, Harrison Taylor, Chandler Taylor, Loyld Moody and Steve Squires.

Honorary pallbearers will be family at Liberty Bank.
