Carol Cole Wall McCallister, 92 a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend went to her heavenly home on January 31st, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 28th, 1933 to H. Eslie Cole and Gussie Davis Cole in Lynn, Arkansas where she lived until meeting her loving husband of 23 years, TE “Jack” Wall.

Carol graduated from Lynn high school and had a scholarship to attend The University of Arkansas. In 1967 she opened Carol’s Dress Shop selling the latest fashions to women all over Northeast Arkansas. She later worked in various retail positions finishing her career as a sales associate at Zales Jewelry. She served her community well as an elected member of the Craighead County Quorum Court where she served as Justice of the Peace; and enjoyed volunteering with the Democratic Women of Craighead County and Arkansas.

Carol was an active member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in everything she did. Carol is preceded in death by her parents, H Eslie and Gussie Davis, her husbands, TE “Jack” Wall and Andrew McCallister, two daughters, Pamela Wall and Jill Wall Walker.

She is survived by her children: Don Wall (Janet), Carolyn Wall Thompson (Jim), Nancy Wall Liddell (Charles), Larry Cole, Jackie Fields Yielding, Darrell Wall (Kim), and one son-in-law Brian Walker.

Carol’s eight children blessed her and Jack with 17 grandchildren. Bruce Wall, Chris Wall, Dee Wall, Michael Wall, Brett Thompson (Dana), Kelli Evans (Dikelin), Blake Thompson (Brandy), Tammy Gregson (Jeff), Candy Bennett (Mark), Jeremy Cole (Katie), Tiffany Cole (Staci), Lindsay Simpson (Matt), Parker Fields, Ryan Cupp (Shana), Molly Cook (Garrett) and Morgan Walker.

Her seventeen grandchildren blessed her with 28 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Friday February 6th from 5-7 at Emerson Funeral Home and Funeral Services will be held at Philadelphia Baptist Church on Saturday February 7th at 2pm. Pastor Jarrid McGrew will officiate.
