Carol Jean Mode

Carol Jean Mode, 67, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Monday, March 26, 2018, at her home.  She had lived most of her life in Jonesboro except for a short amount of time, living in California.  Carol was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Church.  She was a 1968 JHS graduate.  Her career was diverse; she worked as a switchboard operator for Southwestern Bell, a healthcare aide and in food industry sales.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn and Virginia Long.

Survivors include her husband of twenty years, Gary Mode, of the home; brothers, Dennis Long (Mary); Pat Long (Dianna) all of Jonesboro; niece, Candace Adams (Kevin) of Earle; nephews, Shawn Long, Tyler Long (Johnna); Barry Hesse (Krissi) all of Jonesboro; several cousins, friends and classmates.
