Carol Farmer Lofton

Carol Farmer Lofton, 54, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Twin Oaks Nursing Center. She had lived in Jonesboro for the past 14 years, moving here from Hernando, Mississippi. Carol graduated from St. Mary’s Episcopal High School in Memphis and attended Ole Miss. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny M. Lofton; her mother, Susie Farmer; and her grandparents, Iola and Travis Reid.

Survivors include her children, Johnny M. Lofton Jr. and Brooke Lofton; her father, Martin Farmer all of Jonesboro; one brother, Reid Farmer of Denver, Colorado.

All services will be private under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.
