Carol Fenner

Carol Anderson Fenner, 85, of Jonesboro, passed from this life Saturday morning, December 14, 2019, at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center.
She was born at Jonesboro on May 5, 1934 to parents Byrnis LaMoine Anderson and Elizabeth Avery Jarman Anderson, who preceded her in death, as well as one daughter, Sandy Fenner Hubbart.

She attended Arkansas State University, which prepared her for the lifelong fulfilling career as a Medical Technologist at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center. She distinguished herself by becoming the first employee to be trained and certified to run SBRMC’s first mechanized blood analyzer, the SMA-12/60.

She loved all things Razorbacks, canoeing on the Spring River, dogs, and later in life a cat.
She is survived by her sister Janis Anderson Foster of Huntsville, Alabama, daughter Judy Moore of Indian River, Michigan, and son Lowell Fenner of Jonesboro.

As per her request, there will be no services, but would encourage you that any memoriam be made by a contribution to the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society.
