Carletta Ann Mosley, 84, of Batesville passed from this life on Friday, January 8, 2021. She was born to the late Oia “Doc” and Neva Kildow on December 6, 1936 in Trumann. Carletta was a homemaker and was known for her quilts and being a seamstress. Family was the most important aspect of her life, especially her grandchildren and her children. In addition to her parents, Carletta is preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Watts; second husband, Sonny Ray Mosley; son, Carl Steven Watts; sister, Mary Pogue; and grandson, Brant Luke.
Carletta is survived by her sons, Tommy Watts (Shelley) and David Watts (Vanessa); daughters, Kathy Luke (Kevin) and Caroline Goodwin (John); sisters, Mattie Dickens, and Betty Fisher. Carletta also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on January 12, 2021 with Carl Blankenship officiating at Emerson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with the pallbearers being David Watts, Kevin Luke, Matt Watts, Wes Watts, Tyson Luke, and Seth Jorgenson.
