Carla Sue Hotchkiss Hernandez

Carla Sue Hotchkiss Hernandez, 55, of Leachville, Arkansas, died Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at St. Bernard's Medical Center. She had lived in Leachville for a year, moving there from Lake City, Arkansas. She was an avid reader of romance novels and was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Jean Wilson.

Carla is survived by son, Billy Webster, Sacramento; daughters, Marsha Dewey and husband William; Kimberly Marmolejo, all of Sacramento; Christina Lopez, Leachville; brothers, Paul Hotchkiss, Evening Shade, Arkansas; James Hotchkiss, Steve Hotchkiss, and Kenneth Davis, of Lake City; sisters, Lucille Birdsong, Lake City; Terry Irwin, Jonesboro; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Bro. Tom Newman officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Jose Flores, Steven Hamilton, Robert Wilson, David Hotchkiss, Billy Webster, Brandon Hotchkiss, Tony Flores, Juan Flores serving as pallbearers and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from noon until service time.
