Carl Edwin Wixson

Carl Edwin Wixson, 74, of Fisher, passed from this life, Monday, April 9, 2018 at Craighead Nursing Center in Jonesboro. He was born August 17, 1943 in Fisher to the late Roy and Anna Wixson. Edwin attended his 11 ^th and 12 ^th grade year of high school at Missouri Military Academy in Mexico, Missouri. He then went on to get a Bachler’s and a Master’s degree from Arkansas State University. Edwin was a farmer most of his life until he retired. He was a member of Fisher United Methodist Church in Fisher, Arkansas.

In addition to his parents, Edwin was preceded in death by a sister, Lenita Wixson.

Survivors include his sister, Sandra (Randal) Kellems of Jonesboro; niece, Kristina (Joshua) Hull of Jonesboro and several other friends and family.

The family wants to express their appreciation for the care given to Edwin by friends and church members.

A celebration of his life will be Friday, April 13, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. on his family farm with scattering of his ashes. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Sigman and Rev. Jesse James.
