Carl Marion Cook, 85, of Jonesboro, passed away in his home in the early morning hours of the 14th. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa. He had an infectious smile, quick with and a glorious sense of humor. Carl was a hardworking man of character, intelligent, a born leader with an entrepreneurial spirit which lead to several successful businesses in Jonesboro. He loved his family, traveling, wood working, and dancing the night away with his beautiful wife Christine at the Elk's Lodge.
Carl was welcomed into Heaven by the love of his life Christine; his two sons Richard and David Cook; his parents (William J and Beulah)and four siblings (Alice, Bill, Louise and Ralph), all of Jonesboro.
He is survived by his daughter (in law) Karen Cook; one sister, Dorothy Jansen; three grandchildren Jared(Angie) Cook, Timothy (Michelle) Cook, Ashley(William) Blaylock; 11 great-grandchildren; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a graveside service, Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Oaklawn Cemetery beginning at 10:00 a.m.
