Carl Edward Baird Jr., 60, of Ft. Worth, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on February 6, 1957 in Jonesboro. Carl graduated from Walnut Ridge High School and Arkansas State University. He was saved and baptized in the First Baptist Church of Walnut Ridge. Carl enjoyed spending time and traveling with his wife, Theresa.

He was preceded in death by his precious wife of 21 years, Theresa Kinkade Baird; his mother, Betty Baird; grandparents, Connie and T.E. Baird, Jack and Beatrice Holt and father-in-law Jim Kinkade.

Survivors include his father, Carl Baird Sr.; sister, Sherry (Robert) Engelken; nephews, David (Natalie) Engelken, Daniel (Ashley) Engelken all of Jonesboro; mother-in-law, Ruth Kinkade; brother-in-law, Rob (Kim) Kinkade and one niece Addison Kinkade all of Lake City.

Funeral service will be Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 3:00 pm in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Larry Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Lake City Memorial Cemetery with active pallbearers being David Engelken, Daniel Engelken, Jim Sellers, Bill Reilly, Perry Webb and Rob Kinkade. Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Wall, S.A. Skidmore, Jeff Wilson, Steve Engelken and Len B. Nall.

Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 pm prior to the service.
